If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of some or all assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction consistent with applicable law.

6. Private Groups & Visibility

  • Invite-only groups: groups are currently private and accessible by invitation.
  • What group members can see: your display name/profile (as configured), the markets/predictions you submit in that group, outcomes, and your score/leaderboard placement for that group.
  • Admins: group admins may have additional capabilities (such as managing membership) depending on app functionality.
  • Group integrity: we may keep records necessary to preserve group history and integrity of leaderboards and outcomes, even if a user deletes their account, typically in de-identified form where feasible.

7. Cookies, Analytics, and Do Not Track

A. Website cookies and similar technologies

If you use our website, we may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to operate the site, remember preferences, and enable analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect site functionality.

B. Advertising and tracking

We do not currently use third-party advertising SDKs or run cross-context behavioral advertising. If we enable targeted advertising in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide required choices.

C. Do Not Track (DNT)

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. There is no uniform industry standard for responding to DNT signals. Our website may not respond to all DNT signals.

D. Global Privacy Control (GPC)

If we ever engage in activities that constitute "sale" or "sharing" under applicable law, we will provide opt-out mechanisms and, where required, honor legally recognized opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control.

8. Your Privacy Rights and Choices

A. Account settings

  • You can update certain profile settings in the app (where available).
  • You can control push notifications through device settings (and in-app settings if available).

B. Account deletion

To request deletion of your account, email us at auracledotone@gmail.com with subject line Account Deletion Request. To help us verify your identity, include the name shown on your profile and the sign-in method you used (Google). We may request additional information necessary to verify the request.

C. U.S. state privacy rights (including California)

Depending on your state of residence and subject to legal limitations, you may have the right to: (i) know/access the personal information we collect and how we use/disclose it; (ii) delete personal information; (iii) correct inaccurate personal information; and (iv) obtain a copy of certain information (portability).

Sale/Sharing opt-out (California): We do not sell personal information for money and do not currently share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If that changes, we will provide a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" mechanism as required.

How to submit a privacy request: Email auracledotone@gmail.com with subject line Privacy Request. We will take steps to verify your identity (for example, by confirming control of the account through Google sign-in context or other account details). We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law (California requests are generally responded to within 45 days, with permitted extensions). We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Authorized agents (California): You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We may require proof of authorization and verification of your identity.

D. EEA/UK rights (GDPR/UK GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, object, and data portability, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Legal bases: We process personal data to provide the Services (contract), to comply with legal obligations, and for legitimate interests (such as securing the Services, preventing abuse, improving reliability, and maintaining platform integrity). Where required, we rely on consent (for example, for certain device permissions).

9. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, maintain the integrity of outcomes/leaderboards, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention depends on the type of information:

  • Account data (profile and authentication-linked identifiers): retained while your account is active; deleted or de-identified upon verified deletion request, subject to legal and security exceptions.
  • Group/market/prediction records and scores: retained to preserve group history, leaderboards, and integrity of outcomes. If you delete your account, we will take steps to de-identify these records where feasible so they no longer identify you.
  • Logs/diagnostics (including crash reports): retained for reliability, security, and debugging, and generally for a limited duration appropriate for those purposes.
  • Support communications: retained as needed to address your request and for reasonable follow-up.

10. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

11. International Users

Auracle is operated from the United States and we may process and store information in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. If you access the Services from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States. Where required under EEA/UK law, we use appropriate transfer mechanisms (such as standard contractual clauses) with our service providers.

12. Children's Privacy

Auracle is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete it. If you believe a child provided us information, contact us at auracledotone@gmail.com.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last Updated" date above. If changes are material (for example, enabling advertising SDKs, public groups, or new data collection), we will provide additional notice (such as in-app notice) as required by law.
